At Total Care Matters, we are dedicated to transforming the lives of young people through safe, nurturing, and therapeutic residential care. With over 15 years of experience, we are proudly based in Nottingham and operate 9 homes across the East Midlands, offering a total of 31 Residential Placements.
What We Provide

Residential Care
We provide high-quality residential care for children and young people aged 8 to 18 years. Our homes are safe, supportive environments where young people can build stability, develop life skills, and experience positive adult relationships that support emotional and behavioural growth.
Solo & Dual Placements
For young people with complex needs or difficulties, we offer solo or dual placement settings.
These placements are highly resourced, featuring intensive therapeutic input to ensure each young person receives the focused care and support they need.
PACE Therapeutic Approach
Our care is underpinned by the PACE model—Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, and Empathy.
This therapeutic parenting framework encourages trust and emotional regulation, enabling young people to form meaningful relationships and grow within a secure, consistent environment.
Dramatherapy
Through Dramatherapy, young people are given the freedom to express themselves creatively, enabling them to process their past experiences in a way that feels safe, flexible, and empowering.
